Hair Fall Therapy & Precautions for Hair Fall

Introduction:
            Hair loss, alopecia, thinning of hair and balding is some of the common hair problems. Many of us suffer from these ailments due to our modern lifestyle and diet. Ayurveda can be very beneficial in treating these conditions as it investigates the root cause of the problem. For women, thinning hair or hair loss can be a sign of a problem in the gastrointestinal tract. For men, balding process can be slowed down by taking a low-fat diet.

Main Idea:
            Anemia is one of the most frequent causes of hair loss. Eat plenty of iron-rich foods, like liver (Avoid if you are pregnant) and other organ meat, whole grain cereals, dark green leafy vegetables, eggs, dates, and raisins. The hair is comprised mostly of protein. To encourage hair growth, adhere to a diet rich in protein. A recommended diet for this purpose includes calves liver, brewer\'s yeast, wheat germ, and two tablespoons of granulated lecithin. Along with protein, these foods are also high in B vitamins, an important nutrient for hair. Other good sources of protein are: low-fat cheese, eggs, fish, beans, brewer\'s yeast and yogurt.

Treatments for hair fall:
Hair treatment is a combination of Mesotherapy and Laser Hair Therapy to enhance scalp circulation and stem cell stimulation resulting into re-growth.

Mesotherapy: Advance Spanish therapy with application of therapeutic medicinal solutions and allowing them to penetrate in scalp resulting into stem cells stimulation for growth of new hair.

Ayurvedic treatment considers the hair as a byproduct for bone formation. The tissues which are responsible for formation of bones are also responsible for your hair growth. Ayurvedic treatment for hair loss is usually a combination of herbs, diet, meditation, yoga, breathing, aromatherapy, and oil massage. For hair fall control, you need to drink 1/3rd cup of aloe vera juice. Instead of this, you can also take 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel with a pinch of cumin thrice a day for 2-3 months for hair fall control.

Causes for hair loss:
  • Stress is the root cause of any problem and the hair loss problem is also associated with stress.
  • Hair loss also occurs because of disbalance in harmones. Like overactive or underactive thyroid glands leads to hair fall.
  • Baby\'s delivery in mother also leads to hair loss.
  • Intake of strong medicines causes hair loss.

Precautions:
  • Choosing the right shampoo: Too much of chemicals can damage the hair. Alkaline based hair shampoos can damage the hair and can lead to breakage and hair fall. So be careful in choosing the right shampoo.  Use only the shampoos, which have pH factor in the 4.5 to 7 range, as they are safe for hair.
  • Treat the hair with at most care: Hair will be very sensitive then they are wet, so do not comb the wet hair, as it may cause breakage. Use only wide-tooth comb and comb the hair slowly and carefully. Do not use dryers to dry the hair, let them dry naturally.
  • Prevent the hair for smoking:  As we known, smoking will throw a negative impact on our blood circulation. Due to poor circulation of blood, hair follicles will not get the required oxygen supply leads to hair fall. Moreover, nicotine that is produces due to smoking produces more stress hormones. Stress is also a major factor for hair loss.
  • Preventing hair loss due to proper diet and exercise:  A balanced and healthy diet is very important for healthy scalp and hair production. Cut down the sugar contents by avoiding candies, cakes and soft drinks, instead go for fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products and proteins.  Go for regular exercising for atleast 3o minutes daily, as exercise will improve the blood circulation and supply oxygen to the scalp and hair follicles.
  • Daily massage the scalp: Massage will increase the blood circulation on the scalp, and do it every time when you go for hair wash. Just use the fingers and apply light pressure to the scalp. it will increase the blood circulation and promotes hair growth.

            Now a days hair-fall is a common issue for everyone. A person who wants to prevent the hair-fall, he need to follow the above mentioned tips.
